Touring Highlight:Moers, Germany 2021

Fendika artists, led by Melaku Belay, rocked the Moers mainstage (Germany) in May 2021! Melaku's dance improvisation with free-styling Han Bennink alongside virtuosic Fendika musicians is not to be missed. Fortunately the concert was streamed live and can be watched here on Arte Concert website. Gratitude to Moers Festival and Music Meeting.

Touring Highlight: Hungary 2019

Fendika had a beautiful time in Hungary, June 8-10, 2019, thanks to the hospitality of our hosts at Hungarian Open Air Museum. We appreciated learning about the Hungarian culture, and loved sharing Ethiopian dance and music with the museum visitors! Much gratitude to Eszter Csonka-Takacs for making this tour happen, and Konkam Studio (Gitta Agics and Laszlo Kovacs) for documenting the performances.
